More Crafty Fun

Thanks to my friend Kelly Richter, who gave me a gift card to Borders, I was able to purchase this fun book this evening! I got a bit of a start to crocheting from my Grandma Van, who also taught me how to knit. But then Margie Haack and I crocheted rugs out of old t-shirts while we were there visiting, so it made me want to learn more about it. So, when I heard this book had been released, (I have the original "Stitch N Bitch" about knitting), I was curious to check it out. After looking through it for a few minutes, I decided this is what I wanted to spend my gift card on. And don't worry folks, the hooker in the title is just because you use crochet hooks while crocheting! :) Now I just have to finish knitting my sweater so I can begin my next adventure in the world of crocheting.
P.S. Kelly-the gift card is only good in the US. But thanks for the wonderful thought and the fun book!

Wow, you are making sweaters? That's pretty good. Have you figured out how to do Grandma Marsman's mittens? I want to pick up knitting some day. There are so many cool things you can make! Like purses...you can never have enough of those.

Wait... is there some kind of double entendre going on in those book titles?
