Bike Riding and Packing

This morning my neighbor Ruth and I rode our bikes. It was very fun. The sky was cloudy, but it did not rain-perfect! She is training for a triathalon, and I'm just going along for the ride. Although, someday, I want to do a triathalon. Anyway, there is something nostalgic about riding bikes. That was my principle mode of transportation for at least 6 years. I was a slow learner, what can I say. I mean, my dad had to bribe me to learn to ride without my training wheels. He said, "I'll buy you the white sandals you want if you learn how to ride your two-wheeler." That did it. I eventually learned. And my little green Schwinn was the coolest thing ever!

Now, it's back to packing. Here are some pictures of our apartment. For anyone who has ever been to our place here, you know how sad this really is. No more pictures on the wall!

And the fridge, that is the saddest of all. We had tons of pictures and magnets and Travis' best ever bowling score of 195 on there! When I took everything down, and cleaned off the food that was hiding underneath, it brought tears to my eyes. I love having pictures of everyone I know all over the house.

Awww. That's so sad. Your apartment looks all lonely and bare! Sniff.

Brooke! I didn't know you liked the book Jane Eyre! (sorry this is really sporadic...I just saw that on your 'favorite books' list) Did you know there's a musical and an opera of that story? ok, you probably don't care about the opera part, but I just thought that was interesting.
Your apartment does look sad and empty...at least your office still has lots of pictures up!

Hey Brooke! It's my mom and I here. We just wanted to pop in and say hi! We miss you. :) My mom says to tell Travis, "Congratulations on your graduation!"

I know it must be hard to live without pics of yourself on every wall. Send them to me. I'll keep an honorary gallery for you while you're nomads.
