I promised a while ago that I would take more pictures of the inside of our house and post them on my blog so you could see where we live. I kept waiting until a good day when everything was clean and in order. Well, that day has not yet come, and it may be very far off! So, I decided to show you the truth. Unfortunately, more often than not, our kitchen looks something like this.

This picture doesn't look that bad. :) Here is our fridge underneath the wine rack. It has photos of my nephews, a birthday card made for Travis, and lots of magnets I've picked up over the past couple years. The wine rack holds 30 bottles of wine. I think right now we have four in there (there is one empty above it, as well as take-away menus, and wine glasses). Does anyone have any creative ideas to fill these spaces? Cindy maybe? :)

I think the stove is my favorite feature in the kitchen. As you can see it is well used (I made brownies that had to start on the stove, and of course spilled flour all over). It's a great, large, gas stove and I can have many things going at once. It helps make the kitchen nice and warm on these winter nights!

There are leftovers here from a couple of dinners, making brownies, cleaning, opening mail, etc. Since having a baby, I've had even more unfinished projects around the house than I used to. This is a great example of that!

The dining room is a bit small, but it works. Our table can expand more and we can take the table away from the wall to fit a lot of people around it. The door you see there goes back to our deck. We'll use that more when it's warm out, but for now we throw stale bread and tortillas out there for the birds and enjoy watching them. We are very thankful for this house we live in!

Your house looks so nice!
Have you thought about putting shells in those little nooks...might find some interesting ones...and they would be free??
Just a thought.
