He Comes Bearing Gifts

Hello again! I have not really had much to post about lately, so I didn't post anything. We have been feeling sick on and off for a couple weeks now, so I have not had much extra energy.  But here is a post, finally!   

Since Monday Hannah has been staying with us.  She has come from the states to live and work and explore in New Zealand for a while.  She is not even sure when she's going back yet.  She has been spending some time in Auckland seeing some sights and getting over jet lag.  Here she is at Sandy's last night trying Vegemite for the first time.  I couldn't even believe Sandy had that in her pantry!  Hannah is leaving tomorrow to go up north for a while, where it's a bit warmer this time of year.

Now come the gifts mentioned in the title... Travis was walking home from his office the other day, and Sophia and I had not spent any time outside yet, so we decided to meet him.  As he came into view, I saw he had something in his hand.  I couldn't tell what it was right away, but then I saw these beautiful flowers!  He said he walks by the flower shop everyday and wishes he could buy some for me everyday, but we can't afford it, so he stopped that day.  They are still looking great and they smell wonderful!  

Then last night, Travis handed me a bag with this shirt in it.  A couple shops down from Travis' office is a tattoo shop with clothes for kids.  Yes, you read that correctly.  We had been eyeing different items in there for Sophia, and finally he chose one.  I hope she likes it!  I'm just glad he didn't come home with another tattoo yet.  I don't think that's in our budget.  :)
