9 Years
On the 13th of May, Travis and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary! Neither one of us can really believe it's been that long. I don't have my scanner/printer hooked up to my computer yet, so I can't scan older pics of us for your laughter and enjoyment. We have been through a lot...graduations, deaths, jobs, moves, celebrations, and one child. Here are a few photos from the last 4-5 years, but not necessarily in order.
This is from our 5 year anniversary celebration weekend in Hermann, Missouri. We had fun relaxing and sampling wine from the area. We had so much fun together! We had not been away alone together since our honeymoon.
The same year we ended up in New Zealand the first time. This photo is with John when we went to see Hobbiton and is taken from Bag End, the home of Bilbo Baggins.
Crystal's wedding reception.
At my parents house for Christmas, like we did every year we lived in St. Louis.
Lloyd's wedding, with Travis wearing his very first suit! He had to buy it for the wedding. It's actually come in handy a few times. :)
At my parents house with my nephew Alec. He is much bigger now. He used to be afraid of Travis. Now he is just kind of shy around him, until he can start to beat him up.
At Growlers for one celebration or another. We hung out there quite a bit while in St. Louis. This was the location of my 30th birthday party.
Having some fun with sun glasses. One thing I love about Travis is his goofyness. He can really make me laugh.
A very proud moment! Travis' seminary graduation. In the first year of our marriage, we celebrated my graduation from college.
Us after an Avett Brothers concert in St. Louis with Seth Avett. They are one of our favorite bands. If they are coming to a city near you, you should go see them. They are so fun live!
One of the biggest events in our relationship so far has been Sophia coming along. This is me pregnant with her in Pittsburgh when we were visiting our friends Jon and Meagan.
Sophia's first hour, holding on to her daddy's finger. It's been so fun seeing Travis do something he's always wanted to do, be a dad.
In the airport as we were leaving for New Zealand with a one way ticket. One of the more scary moments in our 9 years.
