Goodbye Katie

I just found out that this cutie died two days ago.  Ok, just to clear things up, I'm talking about the dog, not the person in the photos.  This was Katie.  She was a great dog.  She was one of my favorites.  I have not forgotten about you Addy, Lucy, Floyd, and Mia!  :)  And my favorite dog of all time was mine, Rex.  But that's besides the point.  I took care of Katie when her family would go out of town.  She was so high energy I would take her running everyday and she would outrun me every time.  She could just keep going!  Especially if she saw some animal to chase.  

This is Stacy, one of Katie's family members.  I don't have any pictures on my computer of the rest of the family.  Stacy and her family are great!

Katie was funny with Travis.  One time we were staying at the house together, and she would not let Travis in the door!  She kept growling and barking at him.  I had to convince her that he was ok.  She finally nervously started to lick him, but looked at him funny all the time.  She was being protective, I think.  The funny thing is that dogs usually like Travis better than me.  But not Katie.

So, goodbye Katie.  We will all miss you.  I'm sorry I won't get to see you again.
