One Tree Hill

And for all you American TV fans, I am not talking about the TV show. I am talking about the place pictured here in this blog post. :) I don’t know much about One Tree Hill, but I do know there is no tree on top of it. Apparently someone attacked the tree a while back and people tried to save it, but too much damage had been done, so it is now more of a No Tree Hill, as I heard someone refer to it. Travis and I went there on Thursday to see the sunset, but there were so many clouds we couldn’t see the sun. That’s ok because it was still really great to be up there. The whole surrounding area is a farm and there were so many sheep and lambs running around. If you look on the picture of the hill, all the white dots are sheep and lambs. So cute! And I'm not sure what's up with the monument on the top, but it's a much smaller version of the Washington Monument in DC. For those of you who have been to DC with me, you know that is my least favorite monument. I just can't get away from that stupid shape! I hope you enjoy this, Crystal and Laura! :)

This last picture is of Bonnette and Nitika, a couple of new friends we have here. We were out celebrating them being finished with exams for the term. They have been great people to hang out with. Thanks Bonnette and Nitika!

I was thinking more about the U2 song! Wonder if there's any relation? I'll have to listen more closely!
