Setting Up House

We have a house to live in!  Yay!  The lease was signed on Friday, and we get the keys on Monday, March 9.  I will post pictures when I am able to take some.  They will be pictures of it unfurnished for quite a while, because we just received news today that our belongings will not be arriving in Auckland until mid-late April.  That has been frustrating to us, especially since we now have a place to move our things into.  We are going to try and borrow a few things for the time being, just enough to get by, and still move in soon.  We will see how that goes!  And Jenny and Spencer, we will be doing some sort of camping out, but don't worry, you can still stay!

In the meantime, I am scouring a website called Trade Me (like a local Ebay) for all the necessities for our house (washer, dryer, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, lamps, etc).  I've bid on a few things but have been outbid.  Hopefully I'll be able to purchase some items soon.  It's actually kind of exhilarating and addicting, searching and bidding on things.  It's also very time consuming, but hopefully it will end up saving us a bunch of money in the end.
